In skin care products Vitamin C is mostly used to protect the skin from cell-damaging free radicals which are aggressive groups of molecules that accelerate the skin ageing process, specifically when the skin exposed to sunlight. Vitamin C captures these aggressive particles on the skin and makes metabolic system to defuse them faster. 

○ Vitamin E - is also a free radical scavenger and it’s formed only by plants protecting unsaturated fatty acids from oxidation. Vitamin E stabilises Vitamin A and provides smoother skin relief by improving its surface. Also it increases skin’s ability to store moisture. In the deeper skin layers Vit. E promotes the enzyme activity and thus increases the metabolism. Vit. E is particularly suitable for sun-stressed skin, as it prevents premature light-induced skin ageing. Above the all said, vitamins do not replace sunscreen filters, but always should be considered as additional protecting measures against unwanted sun exposure.
